The beauty solution: Spaghetti and meatballs edition

As a lifelong, loyal fan of the carbohydrate I’m excited to start this week off with a delicious and healthy spin on the Italian classic: spaghetti and meatballs. I think many of us have a love/hate (mostly love) relationship with carbs. I don’t believe in cutting out carbs, but moderation is key. If nature presents itself with a delicious alternative to carbs then why not make the switch? Enter: spaghetti squash. Here’s my preparation preference.

An Italian feast wouldn’t be complete without a hearty little meatball. I eat beef once in a while when a craving sets in, but I tend to stick to leaner meats like turkey. This turkey, kale and quinoa meatball recipe is super tasty and is packed full of health and beauty benefits. Check it out here.
